“Oi. Man, A science test!”

Well, I just met a new friend "Cara" (using this code name to protect her identity). She recently just moved here and we instantly hooked as friends. So we started hanging out at lunch, occasionally at brunch, and after school. Now after school we have this organization called Study Buddies; what you do there is work on homework, and even get help on your homework from teachers or tutors! (pretty awesome ain't it?!) I've been going to Study Buddies every time it's open (Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday), and I decided to invite "Cara" to tag along with my two other buddies. One in my grade and the other a few grades older. So "Cara" agreed to come along, and I was ecstatic to show her how fun and awesome it really is. (Kids think they're too cool to do homework and study... but it's not THAT boring). Earlier, during 6th period, "Cara" said she was having trouble with science; she didn't understand the concept of balancing equations. Since I'm in chemistry and had recently just took a test on it, I decided to help her. So there we were, sitting in the cafeteria, after school, showing her how to balance equations. At the end of the day, she understood it perfectly. As with everything in life, it just takes practice. So I made a worksheet for her so that she'd get that little extra practice. Yay! Help a buddy out, it feels nice to guide someone every once in a while! :)
