“The Color Guard Geek!”

I was with my friend emily over by our lockers when someone came by. Emily was holding her color guard flag along with a couple of her friends. All of a sudden, a kid named Noah said, " Color guard is for homos and stupid people. Well i guess that's why you're in huh, Emily? You color guard geek!" I looked him in the eye and said, "Hey! Watch what comes out of that little mouth of yours! You have no right to say things like that to my friend!" He looked at me with a surprised face and walked away. Later, i saw him and he came over to apologize for what he said. I told him that it wasn't me he needed to apologize to but Emily. He told me how he felt really bad about what he did and he had a feeling she wouldn't listen. I told him that it was worth a try but i don't know if he apologized to her. I had tried my best to comfort Emily after what he had said and i think she knows not to listen to noah anymore.
