“STOP RuMoRs beforE they STOP yOu!”

A week ago there were rumors being spread around about a seventh grader named Paisley. People were saying she was pregnant just because she is overweight. Multiple people were making fun of her constantly. She felt alone and emberassed about her outer appearence. She felt fat, ugly, and unsafe to come to school. So a couple of days ago when Paisley was by herself, I deciced to go up to her and see if I could help her. She told me how alone and unsafe she felt in her own skin. I listened to her then gave her advice such as ignoring the rumors and just not letting people bring her down. Paisley is a beautiful, loving, strong girl and I know she can get through this tough time in her life right now. Now Paisley knows that avoiding the rumors is the BEST thing to do! Whenever you see someone in a situation such as getting bullied, being made fun of, or even if they are just having a hard time, try to help and see if all they need is someone to talk to. Listen and help them out with any problems they might be having.
