“A Dreary Day Brightened”

As I do every morning, I went to Starbucks in Squirrel Hill to get my Chai Tea Latte on the way to work. It was a dark, dreary, rainy morning; a day that really didn't make one want to smile. I ordered my favorite beverage and presented my Starbuck's card for payment and was told it was taken care of by someone in the store. A random act of kindness! I didn't settle for that answer and asked who was the wonderful stranger that brought some sunshine into my morning. The cashier pointed out the young man who had paid for my drink. I approached him; thanked him and asked him what was up. He explained in detail and gave me a game card. I readily accepted and decided to play. I am anxious to see where the card ends up next.
