“Whoops... I forgot one.”

I received this card in my staff mailbox at work. (Thanks Kathy!) :o)
At work it is nearly impossible to hold the door for anyone as the classroom doors are either propped open or I was the only one walking through a door that needed opening.
However, when I attended Wayne State later on in the evening, I held the door for several people. I forgot one time -- I was in such a hurry I had already passed through the door before I realized I was rude. I turned back to open it and the guy laughed a little about what an idiot I must have looked like. I apologized and went on my way. It made me think... how many times do we get so busy and wrapped up in our hectic lives we forget simple kind common gestures? :( Sad, but true.
From there on out, I held doors everywhere and people smiled :)

I passed the card onto a classmate, who seemed a little taken back by this whole social revolution thing. He is a very friendly outgoing guy though so I'm thinking he'll do it. We shall see. :)
