“Teenage Crush”

Back in eighth grade one of my friends and I had one of those fleeting middle school crushes. You know, sweet innocence of holding hands and playing footsy games. But for some odd reason, we just stopped talking. Basically, we ended up ignoring each other for the rest of the year. Nothing bad happened we simply stopped talking.

Now, I'm a Senior in High School, as well as he. Last week, we both happened to be at a wrestling match at our school. Oh, reminds me ~ the kid and I also use to wrestle together back in eighth grade, so it was kind of a coincidence. But it was the first time I had talked to him since eighth grade. It was not the most comfortable conversation, but it was nice to finally see what he has been up to for the past four, five years.

It is interesting to see how people evolve. :)
