“Tallahassee Uprising! Come on FLORIDA!”
3 people think this is Nice! It's been a while since a BOOMBOOM for me. Not that I haven't been ignoring intentional acts of kindness, but I haven't been telling you all about them, nor have I had the energy to share the BOOMBOOM cards with others (until today!!!). What I am hoping is that this BOOM BOOM will create an uprising in Florida. I don't know if you've checked the map recently, but Florida is grossly misrepresented in the BOOMBOOM revolution.
I simply brought a deck of BOOMBOOM cards to dinner to pass out to my friends. They had all expressed interest in the adventure, so I passed out individual cards to each of them. In return for their efforts, I bought dinner for the four of us. I am hoping that this is the beginning of an uprising in the sunshine state. Wish me luck!
This adventure has helped remind me of the simple kindness of a smile, thank-you, or an extra minute of my time. BOOMBOOM is alive and well inside me, it's just taken a while for it to be accepted by others. Positive actions hopefully will lead to other positive actions! Here's hoping!
