It was not easy to pick up the tab. All I knew was going away, was not hungry, laying home in a bad case of cold .... Then I saw Revolutionize It! You can revolutionize every task, which means that you make a more challenging variant of the good deed. The Revolutionize It of the day was to pick up the tab for the entire table or for a person sitting next to you. So I simply pick up the tab for an elderly man, after me in the Burger King queue. His response? I wanted onion on mine!

Well, that is an interesting reaction, isnt' it? Sometimes it's really hard for people to acknowledge kindness. I don't know why, but I have found that it is. Perhaps it's because so many of us are so not used to it that when someone does something genuinely kind...it seems suspicious or it's difficult to know how to react to it. This condition makes me want to do kind things more often so people become comfortable with not only receiving a kind act, but performing them as well. Regardless of the man's response to your generosity, this was well done! Boom Boom!
You are so correct. It is sad that so many of us are not used to be treated kindly. It is just to continue and hopefully start a transformation, both in ourselves and others.
