“Getting Started”

I teach a class of 7th graders, and gave each student a Boom Boom Card with the assignment of performing the "radical act of kindness" on their card before the end of the week. I also figured I should get in on the action, so I took a card for myself that told me to unexpectedly "pick up the tab". Since I didn't go out to eat at all this week, I decided to pick up the tab for the car behind me in the drive-through this morning at Caribou Coffee. I passed the card along to the cashier to give to the person behind me. We'll see where it ends up!
