“Beach Clean Up”
Aiming to help the environment and to gain community service hours, I attended a beach clean up a few weeks ago. I spent about 3 hours picking up discarded human possessions: boxers (disgusting.. what was happening on that beach?!), a boogie board (how could you forget something so big?), a punctured football, many lonely shoes, water guns, glass bottles, an umbrella, and even a twenty dollar bill! I turned it into the lifeguard, and he just told me to keep it... So I guess it all "paid" off in the end. There were lots of awesome turtle nests and scattered egg shells. It was fun to hang out with my friends, and potentially save some animals life (baby sea turtles :D).
