My husband is from the UK. When we married 10 years ago, we decided to make Canada our home. His parents still reside in the North of England. I used to be a very good letter writer. I would write to my mother in law on a fairly regular basis, sending pictures of the children etc. But life seems to get gradually busier and time to do things like write letters seems to be scarce. So, I decided to make Grandma and Grandad a homemade card with the help of my 4 year old son Rohan. We had a great time. AND...we revolutionized it by sending them the last boomboom card we completed. So even though we live on opposite sides of the world, we are still managing to do things together as a family. My in laws called the other day to say they received the card and were excited to do the boomboom card. They also mentioned that they already knew who they would pass it on to once they completed the challenge. I attached a picture of my family with Grandma and Grandad that was taken a few years ago.
