Being as I work in an outlet and there is a Starbucks located just around the corner, I decided that when I got my afternoon cup, I'd purchase a gift card and give it to whomever I chose. As I stood in line waiting to place my order, I anxiously looked around the room for some sign of who I should treat. Frustrated and running out of time, I said a quick little prayer. Something along the lines of, "God, please send me a sign of who to give this gift card to." The moment this thought was conceived, a man I had helped in my store a few days prior opened the door and went to the end of the line. This man and his son were so genuinely nice, and I remember saying to an associate, "I wish every customer was just like that" as they left the store. Funny how things work out... Funny how I chose to go on break at that specific time... Funny how this man came to the outlets on this day, at this time... Funny how he chose to go to Starbucks at the same time I did, during the same time I decided to pray for him... Funny, how beautiful life can be.
