I went to a small local Colombian place while at a conference. The first time I went there I explained I was a celiac and they went through a lot of trouble to make sure that I was okay. I did over tip. I didn't get sick at all, went back the next day (it was a very cheap restaurant) and ended up tipping about 100% because they were so helpful, even with a language barrier. A lot of time it is easy to get misinformation when dealing with a problem like an allergy or celiac sprue. So, thank you Latino's Taste, for all of your help!
