I actually did this one a couple of months ago and realized that I never posted what happened. I did it! I said Hi! to everyone that I met and most said hi! back, though I did get a few confused looks... I am in New York & we do get a "bum rap" about not being friendly or caring--that is so untrue...it is that we are so dense in population (not intelligence!)that it is our way of giving 'space' & privacy until beckoned to impose ourselves. I put doesn't everyone as my title--because since I did it that day I cannot imagine ever, ever not saying hello & smiling at everyone I meet! I have a lot more friends and my days are all sunny, even a day like today that the weather people are saying is gray, rainy with gale force winds! So again, I should say "Why doesn't everyone"? It is sooooo worth it!
