Card Journey for: [EV-EVERY]
Proud Parent Moment
The other day I was dragging Miss M around Staples while I bought supplies for my classroom. While we were there she asked if we could buy some paper for her teacher, saying "she says she always needs more for the class." I said it was no problem, and we bought her a pack. I assumed that the teacher had made a request for supplies in class, as teachers often have to do. However, a few days later I found a note from the teacher while helping M clean her room. The note said "Thank you for the note, I appreciate you offering to help out. I can always use binder paper for my classroom." I realized she had randomly given her teacher a card asking her if she needed anything for the class!
Doorbell Ditch
Today the 13 of May I made a little package for a person in my class that had 4 pencils 1 had the times tables, another was a pencil with a recycling. I made it because he was being teased by my friend and so I decided to give him a smile! I didn't tell him who it was from. I left it on his porch, knocked, and ran into the car and we drove away!
When life gives you lemons....
This week Mollo and I had great plans to go to the beach, go to swim lessons, and all sorts of other fun summer activities. One thing that Mollo was really looking forward to was making lemonade with our next door neighbors with some lemons they had picked together over the weekend. I mean, who doesn't like lemonade? Unfortunately, Mollo came down with a cough Sunday night and we had to call and cancel our plans! On Tuesday we had a knock on our door and three lovely faces appeared, along with a big pitcher of homemade lemonade!!! Yum!!! It certainly helped, for when life gives you lemons it's pretty awesome when your neighbors make the lemonade for you!
